CGS is the only Italian company that has its own laboratory for the analysis and prequalification of materials, CGS LAB. The aim of the CGS group is to supply a complete service, from technical advice to turnkey solutions, constantly monitoring the quality of all implementation stages. This is the reason why we decided to buy state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and mobile laboratories to complement our machines.

In particular, CGS Lab is specialised in:
» Taking samples and performing geomechanical analysis of soils to be stabilised to adjust the prescription;
» Samples and prequalification of bituminous materials to be regenerated;
» Roadway planning and calculation of the durability using an elastic multilayer software;
» Monitoring stabilization and recycling stages using mobile laboratories and technicians on site;
» Destructive and non-destructive testing, density testing, load testing, and fatigue testing after completion;
» Research and development of cold bituminous products for the main company through agreements with private facilities and with the University of Bologna;
» Designing a wide range of options, from traditional solutions to cold recycling;
» Testing innovative binders and procedures for this sector, thanks to the agreement signed with the University of Bologna and with some private laboratories.
